Birth control pills may not work as well to prevent pregnancy when used with this medicine. Use another form of birth control (including condoms or spermicide) along with your pills. Do not breastfeed. You can spread HIV or AIDS to your baby through your breast milk. Tell your doctor if you have liver disease (including hepatitis or cirrhosis), diabetes, or hemophilia. Tell your doctor if you are allergic to sulfa drugs.
