Warnings: Do not breastfeed while you are using this medicine and for at least 3 months after the last dose. Some women who use this medicine have become infertile (unable to have children). Talk to your doctor before using this medicine if you plan to have children. It is not safe to take this medicine during pregnancy. It could harm an unborn baby. Tell your doctor right away if you become pregnant. If you are a woman who can get pregnant, your doctor may do tests to make sure you are not pregnant before starting this medicine. Use an effective form of birth control during treatment with this medicine and for at least 3 months after the last dose. This medicine may cause the following problems:Increased risk of blood clots (including deep vein thrombosis, ischemic strokes, portal vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolus)High blood pressureBlood problems, including extramedullary hematopoietic masses (EMH) Your doctor will do lab tests at regular visits to check on the effects of this medicine. Keep all appointments. Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, liver disease, high blood pressure, or a history of blood clots or blood problems. Tell your doctor if you also have had surgery to remove your spleen (splenectomy) or if you smoke.

Food Warnings: Some medicines can affect how luspatercept-aamt works. Tell your doctor if you are using birth control pills or hormone replacement medicines.
